TEAMWORK • MOTIVATION • COMMUNICATION • PROBLEM SOLVING
A seamless transition from elementary to secondary school is a tranquil transition for the student, the family and the other adults involved. It requires mutual adaptation among the different institutions in order to enrich the student’s success at the academic, personal, family, social and cultural levels. High school is an intense period of adaptation in which young people are faced with psychological, social and environmental challenges. Students in the Leadership program in École Panorama Ridge Secondary are always asked the question, "What are the qualities of a good leader?" Camp Thunder is specifically designed to empower students and unlock their potential to become leaders. Our supportive environment allows participants to further develop their strengths, face new challenges, and build many valuable skills that allow a smooth transition from elementary school to high school.
